I was hired to photograph Julinda for a health care publication at her home in the Front Range here in Colorado. I always enjoy meeting and photographing real people (a much more authentic and engaging experience and portrait than a model portraying some character) and Julinda was a pleasure to meet and work with.
As many of you here in Colorado have seen, Painted lady butterflies have been everywhere this year. Here are a few photographs of them I shot this afternoon – I hope they brighten your day!
Troy Isley just won a bronze medal at the AIBA world championships in Hamburg. I was commissioned to photograph him before he left Colorado. He is a great human; someone to watch and root for all the way (think Tokyo 2020). Congratulations Troy!
I always love meeting new people and it was a joy to spend time with Angela and her family. We made these portraits at her home on assignment for a healthcare publication.
Here are 3 architectural photographs from a shoot last night of The new Goddard School here in the Highlands, Denver. I am continuously amazed by what is now possible when using a drone for aerial photography.
Architects, Developers, Builders; do you want your project captured in a photograph like this? Give me a ring, we’ll make it happen!
I’m just back from another aerial photo shoot using my drone at a construction site here in the Denver area. Today I spent a little time making visually interesting photographs that I and (hopefully) other photographer / artist folks will enjoy. First, of course, I captured the photographs the client needed, then time to be creative.
I had a fantastic assignment recently to spend the day with Ethiopian marathoner and Olympic silver medalist, Feyisa Lilesa. He now lives in Arizona, not returning to his homeland after finishing second in Rio and displaying a protest gesture as he crossed the finish line, for fear of what might happen to him upon his return.
A few new fun and visually interesting aerial photographs from a recent drone flight at a construction site in the Denver, Colorado area.
I have been commissioned to fly a few drone sessions at large construction sites here in Colorado recently. My client wanted mostly HD video, but also a few photographs, too. Below are two of the photographs that jumped out at me – what an amazing perspective the drone can offer!
I’m proud to share the current issue of Marijuana Business Magazine with my photograph on the cover. It was an interesting concept, and great to collaborate with the team at the magazine to make this cover happen!
